Speed & Ease | February Monthly Blog

In February, generational ties to wrong thinking and anxiety are being broken off of you as you believe that God is truly working all things together for your good. Psalm 23 is being highlighted as a key to demolishing pain and fear, and as you declare it and meditate on it you will find comfort for wounded places in your soul. There is grace this month to build holy community, and you will find new ease and breakthrough as you reach for the people around you and share life with them. God is sharing His solutions for seemingly insurmountable problems, and you will find Him giving revelation in unexpected places if you are unintimidated by advances and willing to follow Him where He leads.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8.28 (NIV)

This month, as you stand in faith that God is working all things together for your good, there is power to break off generational ties to wrong thinking and anxiety. When the belief that all things work together for your good is really solidified in your spirit, anxiety simply melts away.  That doesn’t mean that everything is easy or without trial, but it does mean that if it’s not good, it’s not the end. As trials or challenges come your way, you have a choice - to believe truth, or to change your theology based on your circumstances. Trials can’t change your belief system when the truth is anchored down deep in your spirit, and when it’s coupled with the knowledge and testimony of God’s goodness, you become unshakable.   As you take a stand to believe truth in faith, you give God the ability to move and transform your circumstances. God never promised that it would be easy, but He did promise that He is always with you, and that He’ll work things together on your behalf.

Doubt, fear, double-mindedness, and anxiety can all end with you.  They don’t have to travel any farther down your family line. Declare with your mouth this month that your circumstances will be turned around for good.  Believe in your mind that God is already at work in your life. Trust in your heart that He has a plan.

“Lord, even when your path takes me through
   the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!

You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way.
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.”

Psalm 23.4 (The Passion Translation)

In the month of February, the entire passage of Psalm 23 will be a source of light and revelation for your current circumstance.  Watch as God highlights the keys that you need to make it through. Try reading it in a different translation than the one you’re familiar with.  This month may be hard for some people, but there is grace available to process old wounds and pain from the holidays. Meditating on this passage is an invitation to process those things with Him.

This month there is a special grace to make this psalm your declaration, standing in faith as you say it.  In particular, as you allow God’s love to permeate you, you’ll find some of your fears melting away. Watch as the “comfort of [His] love takes away [your] fear.”  His comfort is also what is bringing healing to some of the pain that you’ve been carrying around. This pain may have brought up questions that still haunt you. Why did this happen?  What should I do? How will I navigate the way forward? As you rest in His presence this month, you’ll find His comfort a healing salve to your wounds. God’s perspective will shift how you’ve been seeing things, and will change how you feel about it.  Inviting God to show you His perspective will allow you to process through some painful things you haven’t been able to get through before.

When trees grow together, they accommodate for one another’s growth over the years.  If one has a branch growing in one direction, then the other tree will grow around it.  When one tree is cut down, the trees around it hold a lasting imprint of where that tree once grew.  That tree’s presence forever affected their course, their posture and their direction of growth.

This is a beautiful picture of what community is intended to look like.  Just as the Bible instructs us to love each other as we love ourselves (John 15.12), we know that God wants us to move towards one another.  This month you will find ease and breakthrough as you reach for the other. Walls and barriers that have previously kept you apart will not be present this month as there’s a grace for building this type of community.  Start with the community you have, or if you don’t have a circle of friends that you’re doing life with, reach out and start building it.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
declares the Lord.

As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55.8 (NIV)

This month, watch as God highlights viable solutions for seemingly insurmountable problems.  Just as Elon Musk has created a way to colonize another planet and bypass LA traffic, God is revealing His solutions to the problems in your life.  Just as so many have made the switch to reading on devices instead of reading a physical book, there is grace for the learning curve of technology this month.  It’s a time for tapping into the good aspects of technology and not focusing on the negative parts of it, like the way some people are addicted to video games or have more virtual relationships than real relationships. God’s blessing is on technology right now.  We need the advances that technology can bring to our lives to get where we’re headed.

Ask God to show you His answers to your problems this month, and watch as you quickly have the solution that you've been seeking.  The answer may sound far-fetched or like it couldn’t work, but give it a try and see what happens. Don’t be intimidated by advances, because this is a month to step out and see where God leads.

We at The Crowning Jewels believe in the absolute, transformational power of declarations.  We know that truth comes by hearing (Romans 10.17), and speaking truth is an active way for us to renew our minds (Romans 12.2). We also believe that in speaking forth these declarations, you will change your life.  We invite you to partner with what God is doing and say these declarations for the remainder of the month. We would love to hear what God does! Please email us your testimony at tellyourstory@thecrowningjewels.com.
