Powerless Intimidation
Be alert and of a sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5.
The enemy is loud and fear and panic follows in his wake. He is currently screaming intimidation and panic, but it is simply noise that holds no weight or value. Your circumstances may suddenly seem out of control and terrifying, but there is a divine solution that’s bigger than what you’re facing. Maybe you’re suddenly faced with an unexpected bill, a scary medical diagnosis, or slander. However, know that this isn’t the end of the story. God actually has solutions lined up for you that you haven’t seen or anticipated and the enemy’s fear and panic is simply intimidating noise.
God has divine protection and covering lined up and in store for His people. Don’t give into fear and intimidation. The enemy wants you to cower in fear, but it’s time to stand in boldness and confidence. Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying–He will instruct you. Wait on his word. Don’t act out of fear or terror. A key right now is to wait on the Lord and only move from a place of peace. Peace will be your guide, therefore go to the Author of Peace for guidance.
Letting go of Rejection
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are!
1 John 3.1
This month, God is exposing areas where the spirit of rejection has been attempting to cause pain and heartache. This spirit attempts to convince you that you’re unlovable, undesirable, and rejectable. But the love of God covers you. He says “you are cherished, beloved, and lovely.” Being led by rejection means you don’t take risks, you hold yourself back, and you avoid situations where you could experience the painful feelings of rejection. However, one moment of rejection has no hold over your identity or value.
It’s time to evaluate the stories you’ve created or bought into about who you are and your lovability. When life throws you curveballs or you’re suddenly faced with a hard situation, it can be easy to create a story around “why” you’re experiencing something negative or hard. Often these stories can look like identity statements such as:
- “No one will love me.”
- “Bad things always happen to me.”
- “I’m unloveable.”
But this is NOT the voice of God. God is releasing a confidence that you belong, that you are chosen, and that you are loved. It’s time to partner with truth instead of lies about who you are and how deep He loves you. Make declarations of truth about your lovability and acceptability. Get grounded in Scripture. Surround yourself with truth tellers. Get around people who know God’s word and love. Be willing to face rejection–for it’s not the end of the story. Through it all, let yourself be loved. After all, you are a child of God.
Out of the Ordinary Friendships
And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
Acts 1.7
In this season, God is bringing people together who wouldn’t have made sense in other seasons. These alignments are strategic and purposeful. Normally, you wouldn’t make or experience these connections or might have thought nothing of them. However, God is in these out of the ordinary connections. He is in these relationships and in these connections. They are connections that feed your spirit even though you may not “click’ in every area, but you recognize that God is moving.
God is strategically bringing people into alignment for His kingdom and for His purposes. If you’ve been asking God for your people or people you need for a certain assignment from Him, He is in answering that prayer and connecting you with whom you need to connect with. These friendships will prove meaningful and life-changing. Therefore, lean into the unexpected.
Bloom in Your Season
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
Ecclesiastes 3.11
I have a Thanksgiving Cactus that lives on my back porch. And every November, this cactus begins to bloom. When the days get long and dark, when the trees have dropped most of their leaves, and when winter is getting ready to set in, this cactus bursts into bloom. Extraordinary red flowers bloom from this cactus and it always causes me a sense of wonder. Unlike many plants, which need warm spring days to bloom, the cactus needs darkness, cool weather, and night before it can bloom. In fact, if it gets too much light, it won’t bloom at all.
We often think of fall and winter as seasons to let go and let things die. Much of the world can look barren after the trees have shed and the world gets cold and dark. But a season of shedding for one person can be a season of blossoming for another. Certain plants will always bloom in winter, while others will always bloom in spring or summer. If we compare a spring bloomer to a winter bloomer, one will always look like it’s failing or is less beautiful. But the fact is–Christmas cacti, amaryllis, and poinsettia are all winter bloomers. The dark cold days mean it's their season to bloom.
Many of you have watched those around you bloom and flourish, while you remained hidden and buried. However, it wasn’t your season, it was theirs. This word is for those of you who feel like you’ve missed your moment, like you’ve been forgotten, or been left behind. But God can produce blooms in any season and if you haven’t seen the fruit you were hoping for, it’s because it hasn’t been your season. Your season to bloom and flourish is coming, don’t lose heart! Winter blooms aren’t late, they’re simply operating on a different timeline than spring blooms. God is bringing many into their season of blooming, it simply looks different than those around you. If you feel like you’ve missed your moment or are behind in life, it’s time to start celebrating! You haven’t missed it! God’s timing is perfect and it’s time to celebrate the beauty of God’s timing in your life. Praise him when you don’t understand. Allow yourself to flourish even if it seems in opposition to others around you. His timing with you is perfect.
At The Crowning Jewels, it's our desire and our mission to bring encouragement, to build others up, and to bring comfort to people’s lives (1 Corinthians 14.3). Each month our founder, Anne, asks the Lord what He’s doing in the coming month and for any words of encouragement He might have for His people. We believe that prophetic words need to be encouraging and edifying. Moreover, with a corporate prophetic word, not all words are applicable to all people. If our words bless you, please take hold of them and apply them in your own life. If it’s not specific to you, please pass it on to someone else who might be blessed.
As always, the prophetic is a free gift from heaven and will always be something we freely share. As a prophetic business, it’s our mission to bring encouragement and edification to people through the free gift of prophecy, with our product being jewelry.
We at The Crowning Jewels believe in the absolute, transformational power of declarations. We know that truth comes by hearing (Romans 10.17), and speaking truth is an active way for us to renew our minds (Romans 12.2). We invite you to partner with what God is doing and say these declarations for the remainder of the month. We would love to hear what God does! Please email us your testimony at hello@thecrowningjewels.com.
