In the month of June, God is exchanging chaos for peace. There is grace to release things that are no longer serving you and to fill that space with what is. As the dust settles, now is the time to align your body, mind and soul with what the Lord is saying and doing. He is the king of working all things together for our good, and in the face of unexpected and challenging circumstances, He is doing just that. Although it may feel hard to see, He is moving and working on your behalf as you surrender old for new. When loss and disappointment try to take you down, rest in the truth that He has your best in mind, orchestrating plans far beyond your wildest dreams. This month, be open to what His goodness might look like as the Lord expresses His love for you through new relationships, the development of lifelong friendships and community that will change you. We are being presented with opportunities to grow. It is strength to reveal your weaknesses and to be willing to let God lead the way. We can take the path of least resistance and remain small and complacent or we can choose the path that promises the best version of ourselves, following God into uncharted territories. As you become aware of the access you have to His great strength and peace, be reminded that you are being renewed and equipped for your call. You were not made for ordinary, you were made for greatness.
Release and Renew
“God is not a god of disorder, but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14.33
Many of us have been in a season of busyness and caring for others in a way that has zapped our own energy, strength and zest for life. For some, it is caring for their children, for others it is caring for elderly parents, loved ones, a spouse or your business. When we become so busy caring for others and consumed in the busyness of life that we neglect ourselves, it can affect our mental well-being, our health, our weight, our sleep and our emotions. Perhaps you haven’t been exercising like you want to, or eating to care for your body because you feel constantly under the gun to take care of countless other things or people. This is a time to establish new, wholesome, healthy routines day and night. There is grace right now to let go of what is no longer serving you and to develop new habits and rituals.Ones that allow you to take care of yourself and to give your body, mind and soul what you truly need. At times, chaos can be a relentless adversary, and it can be necessary to intentionally move in the direction of peace-filled practices. Think about incorporating into your life: regular exercise, reading a book that uplifts you, memorizing Scripture, dedicated time to wait on and hear from the Lord, a way to document and process with the Lord what He reveals to you and a relaxing nighttime routine.
This month, God is speaking to us about our needs. He created us and He knows what our body, soul or spirit need before we do. If we take the time to quiet ourselves and listen to Him, He will help us. For some, He may even highlight the things we can let go of and walk away from in order to fully embrace all that He has for us.
Count Your Many Blessings
“In the same way I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born," says the Lord.”
Isaiah 66.9
We know that God is good and that by His very nature He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8.28). Sometimes we are able to plainly see Him at work through our circumstances, but sometimes He flies below the radar and we may not recognize for many years what He’s done for us. Some people (and families) in desperately hard times will come face to face with God’s goodness in the relationships that God orchestrates through their challenging situation. Some may be facing unexpected, sudden illness or trauma, and others will just see their situations suddenly change (possibly through a loss of a job, transition or a need to move). Out of these circumstances people will develop relationships with others that are solid, like-minded and focused on building community. God is an expert at weaving hard times into something beautiful, but we must have eyes to see it. God knows the end from the beginning and often He knows what we need even before we do. There are some lifelong friendships, community and even family that will grow out of this time. When our hearts are open to His goodness, we are able to see how He is carrying us. This month, God is divinely orchestrating the connections in your life, bringing lifelong relationships through challenging circumstances.
Expectancy vs. Expectations
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.”
Psalm 27.13
We have all experienced disappointment at one time or another, and it’s usually because we have unmet expectations. We believe, think or hope that something will happen and sometimes it doesn’t work out that exact way. Often, we mourn the loss of our unmet ideals and disappointment sets in. What if instead of pinning our hopes on a lofty idea that we want to happen, we choose to align with the truth of what God has said to us, trusting Him with how He works that out in our lives. What if we choose to focus on His goodness and position our hearts in expectancy of Him to move on our behalf? If He is good all the time, and He’s working all things together for our good (Romans 8.28), then we can trust that He has a plan and it is for our benefit. When we can remain expectant of His goodness and release our specific ideas of how God will work on our behalf then we are not left disappointed, but continually encouraged.
If you’re struggling to believe in God’s unwavering goodness, meditate on the lyrics to the worship song “Way Maker.”
You are
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are.
You are
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are.
This month ask God to reveal His goodness to you, and choose to intentionally trust Him in the way that He cares for you.
He is Strong
“My grace is enough; it’s all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12.9 (The Message)
Life is challenging. It graciously provides opportunities to grow and it is in the growth that we realize our weaknesses and shortcomings. It is in realizing our weaknesses that we recognize our need for God’s strength the most. On our journey, we can choose the easy path; the path of least resistance. We can go down the one that doesn’t challenge us to become the best version of ourselves or we can pursue that which we know we are called to. When we step into our calling, there will be a cost required of us. Even those who feel gifted in the area they’re called to will still find something is required of them. I love the way Bill Johnson exemplifies this. Although he is incredibly anointed in the area of healing, it doesn’t always come easily for him. Bill still has to be intentional in pursuing his call, humble himself in asking for help and aligning with what the Lord has already spoken over him. Even though it was his divine destiny he chose to walk into, doesn’t mean it was easy. In choosing to admit our need and submit it before God, He has room and permission to step in and lend us His strength. You may already know your weakness, or you may not be able to discern what you need from Him yet. Take some time this month to lean into His strength; to rest in His protection and ability when yours doesn’t quite measure up. When you are weak, He is strong.

At The Crowning Jewels our desire and our mission is to bring encouragement, to build others up and to bring comfort to people’s lives (1 Corinthians 14.3). As a team each month we ask the Lord what He’s doing in the coming month and for any words of encouragement he might have for people as a loving God. We realize that with a corporate prophetic word not all words are applicable to all people. If it’s prophetic it also needs to be encouraging and edifying. If our words bless you, please take hold of them and apply them in your own life. If it’s not specific to you, please pass it on to someone else who might be blessed. We do not sell prophecies; prophecy is a free gift from heaven. As a prophetic business, our mission is to bring encouragement and edification to people; our product is simply jewelry.
DECLARATIONS
We at The Crowning Jewels believe in the absolute, transformational power of declarations. We know that truth comes by hearing (Romans 10.17), and speaking truth is an active way for us to renew our minds (Romans 12.2). We also believe that in speaking forth these declarations, you will change your life. We invite you to partner with what God is doing and say these declarations for the remainder of the month. We would love to hear what God does! Please email us your testimony at tellyourstory@thecrowningjewels.com.'s Declarations:
