As I prayed about October and the autumn season, I kept sensing movement—sudden shifts, harvest, and an invitation to open our spiritual eyes to what God is already doing. There are seasons to wait, seasons to prepare, and seasons when God says it’s time to move. This month is a call to remember His faithfulness and courageously move forward when He gives direction. 🏹

The Shift: Be Ready to Move
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19
Do you feel it? I’m not talking about the cooler air—although being able to fling wide open the windows here in Arizona this week has been an amazing blessing. I’m talking about something deeper. As I prayed about October, I kept sensing movement.
The Lord is speaking clearly: It’s time to move.
There are seasons when God asks us to wait, seasons when He asks us to prepare, and seasons when He says, It's time to move.
For many, the past months or even years have required deep surrender and relentless trust. There has been painful pruning, rebuilding, refining, and preparation that didn't always make sense while walking through it. Some things had to end. Some things had to be released. Some things had to be rebuilt differently because the old structure could not carry what God was preparing next.
But the Lord is looking for people who are obedient and ready for the moment when preparation gives way to movement. When something that seemed delayed begins to shift. When the answer arrives differently than expected. When pieces begin connecting that you couldn't have connected yourself.
Suddenly.
Scripture is filled with these moments. Suddenly the prison doors opened. Suddenly the sound of Heaven filled the room. Suddenly what had seemed immovable now began to move. What appears sudden to us may have been forming in the unseen for years.
I don't believe we get to dictate when or how God fulfills His promises. But I do believe we should live with eyes open enough to recognize His movement when it comes.
Isaiah 43:19 asks, “Do you not perceive it?”
Maybe part of this shift is us asking God to open our spiritual eyes. We can become so focused on what we see in the natural—the delay, disappointment, circumstances, and noise around us—that we miss what He is doing in the unseen.
May our bold prayer this season be: “Lord, give us eyes to see what You are doing and the courage to move when You show us.”
The door can open suddenly. But you still have to walk through it.
Suddenly Doesn't Mean Unprepared
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9
Have you ever looked back and realized God was doing things you couldn't see while you were waiting?
October marks one year since I became the owner of The Crowning Jewels. Even writing that feels surreal. The opportunity came together so quickly that it felt like one of the great suddenlies of my life.
But looking back, I realize it wasn't sudden at all.
I became a customer of The Crowning Jewels in 2018. I loved the heart and ministry behind the jewelry long before I ever imagined becoming part of its story. Every prophetic card I received was powerful and timely. Then in 2023, I became a prophetic card writer, praying and writing words of encouragement for customers one card at a time.
I didn't know where any of it was leading. I was simply saying yes to what God had placed in front of me and using my prophetic voice through writing.
Looking back, I realize He was teaching me something much bigger: our gifts can be used in extraordinary ways when we focus less on the gift itself and more on the One who gave it to us.
We don't always need to understand where the gift is leading. We simply need to faithfully use what He has placed within us.
And then, in 2025, the door suddenly opened for me to become the owner.
What felt like a suddenly had actually been seven years in preparation.
Looking back, I can recognize threads God was weaving that I couldn't see while I was living them. He was connecting relationships, developing gifts, deepening my faith, and preparing me to carry something I didn't even know He would someday place in my hands.
There is something incredibly humbling about realizing God was preparing you for an assignment before you even knew it existed.
We see individual chapters. God sees the whole story.
Joseph had a dream long before he stepped into the palace. David was anointed long before he wore the crown. There were years between the promise and its fulfillment—and yet none of those years were wasted. Even for the Israelites, the 40 years in the wilderness were not meaningless. There was divine discipline and generations learning what it meant to live in freedom.
Maybe what feels like waiting in your life isn't empty space. Maybe God is preparing you. What if your suddenly is simply the moment you finally get to see what God has quietly been building in and through you all along?
Restoration May Not Look Like Returning
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten…” — Joel 2:25
Sometimes we ask God for restoration while secretly expecting Him to return everything to exactly the way it was. But what if restoration isn't always a return? What if restoration requires something new?
He walked me through this lesson over the summer. Overnight, I watched portions of our home literally be torn down to the studs. What initially looked like destruction became an opportunity to rebuild differently. There were decisions I never planned to make, things I never intended to replace, and changes I certainly wouldn't have chosen in the chaos they arrived in.
And yet, standing on the other side of it, I can see so much goodness emerging from places that only looked like loss.
God is a Restorer. But He is also a Creator.
He restores what was lost. He replaces what was broken. He brings provision we could never have manufactured. And sometimes He leads us into something entirely unexpected and new.
The lesson? Don't become so committed to the old version that you cannot recognize restoration when it arrives wearing new clothes. Through every shift, remember who remains above it all. The Lord is sovereign. He is still in control. He still does miracles.
Rejoice and Take the Next Step 🏹
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” — Isaiah 30:21
When was the last time you stopped long enough to celebrate something you once begged God for?
Some of the things we call ordinary today were once the very things we asked Him for. Don't rush past your answered prayer on the way to your next request. Look around. Remember. Give thanks. And celebrate what He is doing for others, too.
Some people are experiencing their suddenly right now. Some are standing in a harvest they have prayed, planted, plowed, and waited years to see. Others are still sowing. Some are rebuilding. Others are standing at the doorway.
Rejoice with all of them.
Harvest seasons don't arrive at the same time for everyone. Don't compare someone else’s harvest to your planting season or allow their answered prayer to make you question God's faithfulness in yours.
The harvest belongs to the Lord. Our responsibility is to remain faithful with the seed He has placed in our hands.
Keep plowing. Keep worshipping. Raise your hallelujah before, during, and after the harvest comes.
And when it does come—recognize it. Gather it with gratitude. Give God all the glory. Remember the years when all you could see was dirt.
We are the Body of Christ, not competitors. Let someone else’s testimony strengthen your faith and increase your hope. And as we move forward, I believe there is something the Body of Christ desperately needs to recover: the fear of the Lord.
This is not a fear that causes us to hide from Him, but holy reverence, awe, and an awareness of who He is. Scripture tells us that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10
If we want wisdom to understand what God is doing on the earth, we must honor His holiness, seek His voice above every other voice, and be willing to obey when He speaks.
We cannot walk in Kingdom authority while treating the King casually.
This has been a repeated conviction in my prayer time: less fear of what is happening around us and a greater fear of the Lord. Less reacting to the noise and more listening for His direction.
And when He gives you direction, take the next step. You don't need the entire map. You don't have to manufacture the breakthrough or force open the door.
Remember who He is and what He has done. Listen for His voice. We are arrows in His hands—created with purpose, positioned by His direction, and sent forward for His purposes.
When God says move—move forward. 🏹
